Software engineer at Atlan, based in Hyderabad. I build backend systems for data + AI products, work on cloud infrastructure, and care deeply about reliable, understandable software.

My work has moved across AI-powered research tools, Java/Spring backends, React/Node product surfaces, and now production data + AI systems at Atlan. I’m especially drawn to Go, TypeScript, Python, distributed systems, and performance work. Outside of work, I read research papers, tinker with embedded devices, and contribute to open source.

Building connector infrastructure, Temporal-native apps, and open-source SDK tooling for metadata extraction at scale

→Owned 6 connector migrations end to end in Atlan's company-wide kill-argo migration, moving Monte Carlo, Trino, Presto, Mode, ClickHouse, and Matillion off Argo workflows to a Temporal-based platform; co-own DocumentDB and shipped the migration to enterprise customers with no disruption.
→Enabled high-scale extraction with 500k+ assets per run, cut one connector's full crawl from roughly 90 minutes to under a minute, and added customer self-hosted extraction.
→Created the native-app contract system in Atlan's open-source Application SDK: one declarative file defines a connector's setup UI, credentials, and workflow, then auto-generates running config. →Worked on connector templates and CLI/local dev tooling so engineers can scaffold, run, and test connectors locally before deployment.
→Contributed core features and fixes to Atlan's Go backend for Temporal-native apps: native app routing, credential resolution, a pre-extraction validation endpoint, and publish reliability.
→Built tooling and reusable skill packs that let AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex scaffold, run, and debug apps end to end, plus automated incident triage for faster RCA.
→Owned production incident response for migrations affecting enterprise customers and improved org-wide engineering automation across security scanning, CI, and AI-assisted code review.

→Developed a full-stack AI-powered Legal Research Platform using Next.js, TypeScript, and Firebase, enabling real-time legal research with accurate case law and contextual insights.
→Engineered a landmark case retrieval algorithm combining GPT, search techniques, and court filtering to identify Supreme Court precedents with 98% accuracy, validated by practicing attorneys.
